Establishing a lighthouse identity

An identity development project enabled Bvalco, the board evaluation consultancy, to differentiate its approach with a new elevator pitch, website, blog and brochure.

THE BRIEF 

As part of a new business drive, Bvalco wanted to refresh its brand, clarify what it did that was special and different and create a number of marketing tools to allow it to interact with customers.

 

Benicate was tasked with conducting a reputation audit to identify what the high-profile chairmen it worked with most valued about its approach and how it needed to market itself different to produce the messaging needed for a light-house identity that would make it stand out.

THE SOLUTION

Over the course of one month, Benicate reviewed all of Bvalco’s existing communications materials, interviewed six existing customers, the company founders and three thought-leaders for its industry. The results were analysed and converted into a new company descriptor, challenger values and lighthouse brand.

 

The messaging captured the extent to which Bvalco was able to help boards conduct in-depth board reviews, to provide deep yet actionable insights and recommendations to help boards prepare for the future. Resulting in a new ‘boards fit for the future’ powerline and one-page company descriptor to sum up what Bvalco is all about.
